YICC Certification

YICC Part 1 and 2 are theory and practice.

You will need to participate in all the theory and practice classes and pass the exam for each of the parts.

YICC FIELD PRACTICE (30 hours) - Part 3

30 hours of accumulated teaching experience is necessary, after completing Practice class. Start conducting weekday/weekend classes in different cities sponsored by Yoga Bharati, classes in community centers, work places, schools, for neighbors and family members, YICC study groups etc (group of 2 or more students). Keep track of the dates, hours, location and average number of students attended for log purpose.

Each instructor need to get their classes reviewed and evaluated by one or more volunteers of the YICC working group, at an appropriate stage of your field practice.

Send your field report and/or field practice log whenever they are completed to venkat@yogabharati.org. Following is the format for field practice log. Repeat if necessary for different locations.

FIELD REPORT - Part 4

  • 20 pages minimum, with appropriate pictures
  • Should be a MS WORD document, font is Aerial size 12
  • File size to be limited to approx 500 Kilo Bytes
  • Due by about 75 days of completion of practice classes
  • Field report and Field practice will happen parallely

    Application form (with 2 photos attached) and Survery (titled Inventory of experiences) forms to be submitted upon completion of above requirements. Details will be given during the classes.
