SPRING 2004: YOGA INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATE COURSE (YICC)
Theory Dates: 6th March 2004 – 21st March 2004(Weekends only)
To meet the need for trained Yoga Teachers,Vivekananda Yoga University(VYOMA) in association with its research wing, Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (SVYASA) has designed and developed a popular need-based module called YOGA INSTRUCTORS CERTIFICATE COURSE (YICC).
In Spring 2004, Yogabharati successfully conducted this course in association with SVYASA, Houston.
Program Summary:
- Theory: was completed from 6th March – 21st march (Weekends only)
- Practices: First 15 hours was covered from
- 13th March – 21st March (Weekends – 3 hours every day)
- Remaining 35 hours was completed on a flex schedule
- Field Experience - YICC students are now conducting free Yoga classes in several cities in metro Detroit. Regular classes are being conducted in the following locations:
- On Saturday and Sunday mornings in Farmington Hills.
- On Sunday mornings in Troy.
- On Thursday evenings in Novi.
- In Southfield.
- In Rochester Hills.
